Our society has become ubiquitous society in which anywhere, anytime, anybody can use information. Microcomputers are embedded within mobile phones and home electric appliances. The programs installed in microcomputers control electric appliances. Such systems are called embedded system. There are large demands for engineers who can develop embedded system. Fostering such engineer is urgent matter.

In 1975, Information Engineering program was born in Kyoto Computer Gakuin whose curriculum was designed by a world authority of information engineering Dr. Hiroshi Hagihara at the center.
